These photos were taken on the Valletta shoreline, the city where I was born and the place that shaped so much of who I am. Shooting here felt like coming full circle. Valletta has this mix of history, grit, and quiet emotion

and that’s exactly what Melodrama carries in its heart.

 

I wanted the imagery to feel real and unpolished, just the sea, the stone, the air I grew up with

and a moment of stillness. No heavy setups, no staged drama. Just truth.

 

The shoot was captured beautifully by Neil Farrugia from Optima Photography, who understood the mood immediately.

He brought out the rawness, the simplicity and the soul of the moment exactly what this album represents.
